The Children’s Hospital Immunodeficiency Program (CHIP) is currently recruiting for new and dynamic Student Leaders within the Prevention Program, Be You Colorado. They are seeking enthusiastic youth and young adults, with a primary focus on high school students and freshman/sophomore college students, to join the Youth Leadership Team.

Position Details:
Role: Student Leader
Location: Primarily remote with some in-person events at CU Denver in downtown Denver and the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora

Compensation: $15 per hour

Position Purpose: The Youth Leadership Team will play a vital role in shaping prevention programming by providing insights on youth culture, experiences, and needs. They will support the development, implementation, and evaluation of prevention education, social media marketing, and community outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement social media and digital communication strategies, including podcast development.
Assist in creating and executing education, outreach, and testing services.
Collaborate with fellow Youth Leaders and community partners on youth-focused prevention initiatives.

Eligibility Requirements:
Must be currently enrolled in a high school, college, trade, or other undergraduate institution in Colorado.
Ability to participate in virtual bi-monthly meetings, weekly one-on-one meetings, and occasional in-person events such as health fairs and Denver Pride.
Willingness to work remotely.

Preferred Qualifications:
Interest in sexual health and working with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ communities and communities of color.
Experience in leadership roles and familiarity with social media platforms.
