Out Boulder County's Trans Steering & Events Committee (TSEC) is so excited to host our annual summer BBQueer *in person* this year! We have missed sharing physical space with you - this will be TSEC's first in-person event since the pandemic hit right before Trans Awareness Week 2020. Our BBQueer centers our trans and gender-expansive community members and welcomes family, friends, and allies of all ages.

RSVP strongly encouraged to help us plan for numbers. Please RSVP by July 25th. In efforts to help make more people feel more comfortable, we decided to cater this event for 2021. This is usually a community potluck but we will provide catered and prepared food this year. Another change due to pandemic impacts is the location. We can't host at our usual park, but we are excited to host this event at the Cottonwood Marsh Shelter at Walden Ponds.

This means instead of big yard games like frisbee, we will have the opportunity to chill, talk, and go on peaceful nature walks around Walden Ponds. We also plan to have some art and smaller games. All you need to do is show up! and feel free to bring some smaller and/or table top games! Bring a camp chair and/or picnic blanket.

Shelter capacity is limited to 50 individuals, there are 25 parking spots (2 ADA compliant). Please CARPOOL if possible! We anticipate some turn-over during the event time. The shelter is covered. There are restrooms available onsite.
