Volunteer Training with Queer Futures: Know the Ballot, Own the Doorstep

This November, three ballot initiatives threaten the rights and safety of LGBTQ Coloradans. Join us for a hands-on training to get equipped to fight back — no experience necessary.


What we'll cover:

The Ballot Measures, Decoded — What Initiatives 95, 109, and 110 actually do, who's behind them, and what's at stake if they pass.

How to Talk About It — The messaging that moves people. We'll practice values-based conversations that build support instead of arguments that shut people down.

Canvassing 101 — How to knock a door, open a conversation, handle pushback, and log what you hear.

Phone Banking 101 — How to work a call list, what to say in the first 10 seconds, and how to keep people on the line.


Come as you are. We'll have scripts, talking points, and a team lead with you at every step — whether this is your first time canvassing or your fiftieth.
