Wildlands Restoration Volunteers Family Projects in Lafayette
9:00 AM
Coal Creek Trail
Description:
Have fun and make an impact along the Coal Creek Trail!
Join us along the Coal Creek Trail in the City of Lafayette. This area is a valuable riparian and recreation area that runs for nearly 30 miles throughout Lafayette and the surrounding communities. We will be planting trees and removing invasive weeds along the trail and enjoy lunch (provided by WRV) together afterwards. This project continues our partnership with Nature Kids/Jovenes de la Naturaleza and the City of Lafayette and is a fully bilingual family project! You do not have to speak Spanish to participate as we will have Crew Leaders who speak both English and Spanish.
